I’m a mom, a chef, and I have grocery issues. Before Buckaroo and I got married I always shopped with a grocery list. It just made my life easier and I felt organized. I THOUGHT I was saving money until two weeks would go by and we would be down to nothing…and Chewsy Kids were babies then! There was no excuse for the food to be gone. Well over the years I’ve learned that shopping with a list does help you plan meals better and stay organized, but what it DOESN’T do is save you money. Ok, well it sort of does, but if you don’t know how to shop for groceries and what to put on the list, you will end up blowing your budget anyway. I also TRULY BELIEVED that eating healthy is not always affordable. I’m a chef and I believed this.
No one was changing my mind. Even receiving WIC, and Food Stamps I still couldn’t figure out how to feed my family healthy foods with what I was receiving. (One day I will share my food stamp experience with y’all.) I’m learning that knowledge about the food and the preparation is the key to grocery success! Today I want to share a business that a friend of mine has started because she has helped so many people JUST LIKE CHEWSY LOVERS take control of their grocery budgets and feed their families healthy and delicious meals based on their own personal budgets. No matter what line your “pockets” fall in, you CAN master grocery budgeting with a little tutoring.
