Tearrific Pair Buckaroo and I are ready to celebrate summer! School is out, Chewsy kids are gone to Florida, and we are ready to put our feet up and relax…and chase Chewsy baby around the house. She is just starting to walk. Even having her here we try to squeeze in time to date one another and get some googly-eyed time in. We grabbed a few items from our favorite Walmart and decided to have a lunch date while Queen Zoe was napping. Tearifficpairs_walmart We’re excited that #CollectiveBias gave some folks the opportunity to whip up some #TEArifficPairs for lunch…and who better than Chewsy Lovers THE Terrific Pair!? Lipton Lemon Tea is our go to tea for every occasion. We mix it with fresh lemonade… and Honey, you can’t buy a better drink for a cookout, party, or anything! Arnold Palmer’s (equal parts lemonade and tea) are also our date night drink, no matter where we eat, and have been since our very first date. I whipped up our favorite drink with a twist and he melted my heart with this Garlic Shrimp Caesar Salad. It truly was the perfect pair for a refreshing and light summer lunch. Mango-Mint Tea Buckaroo was a salad chef when we met. In the culinary world he ran the “Garde Manger” station. In a fine dining establishment its the person who makes the salads, appetizers, and sometimes even desserts. He does more than barbecue. The man has skills y’all! And nothing makes me feel more special than him making me a fresh salad because it reminds me of that time. When we were dating, I used to go to his job and sit in the middle of the dining room because his station was out on the floor where guests could see what he was preparing. I would order an Arnold Palmer and just sit and stare all dreamy eyed, while he made me a salad. Then after my meal he would make a special dessert and bring it to my table. Ah! Those were the days. :-) Shrimp-Caesar So today’s #TEArifficPairs from the drinks to dessert were inspired by something we live to celebrate especially when the kids leave for the summer…our love.

  2. Oh, and on our first date we went to my favorite taqueria and had carne asada burritos with their special sauce. We were in my area and I was showing him around. <3
