Our question this week comes from our reader K. in Mississippi:

“Can I cook fresh corn on the cob, wrapped in foil, in the oven?”

This may seem simple to some but we answer them all! You would be surprised at the amount of people that send us questions about “simple” side dishes like rice and corn. Well the answer is, yes K. You absolutely can! We love to eat corn especially in the summer preferably off the grill, but oven roasted corn is just as delicious and is perfect when the weather doesn’t permit or if you don’t have a grill. corarmesan-oven-roaste-crnc So here’s ‘the tea’ —> You want to first remove the husk and silk (the outer “skin” of the corn). Season your corn with salt and pepper. (I give mine a sprinkle or two of sugar) Wrap each piece of corn individually in aluminum foil with about a tablespoon of butter. Roast on a baking sheet in a 400 degree oven for 30 minutes. BOOM!
