For those of you who have been following me before Buckaroo, and before Chewsy Lovers, you know that my children are very important to me. I live for “mommy time”, dance recitals, and to be the homework helper. Making the decision to work from home (financially) has been the hardest thing I have ever endured but for my family, it has been the most rewarding. The moments I get to spend with them are priceless and I can’t get them back.
These special moments are why I’m here. I remember going to my son’s Kindergarten class every week and cooking with his class, gardening with his class, teaching them about food. They had so much fun and so did I. I began to write a monthly column in the Tallahassee Democrat in a special segment for Moms. It was called ‘Alphabet Kitchen’. I shared recipes, and activites for moms with young children teaching the school readiness skills through food. I never thought that something like cooking with my children would turn into something that I could share with other moms or turn into a business. I noticed I was spending more time with my children, they were excelling in school, and Man! They can cook! My son is eight now and he can cook a full meal from the appetizer to the dessert. Can I brag like a proud mama for two seconds? 
Over the years I began writing everything down. Researching, cooking, recording, and still sharing with kids and moms. Now today I am excited to share with you my baby that was born from all of those “visions of sugar plums that danced in my head”. Potstickers!
