Chewsy Kids are still on summer vacation. I’m not going to act like I don’t miss them, but I have been enjoying the time I have been getting to spend with Buckaroo. It’s nice to have thought-provoking, meaningful conversation with…an adult. One of the things we love to do together that we have been able to do often since the kids are away is have movie night. We love movies and can watch ones we love over and over again like we’ve never seen it. I usually pick up our movie snacks at Walmart, and this time was no different. In addition to our movie date dinner (usually homemade hot wings and salad) we also get popcorn and candy! You have to create the entire theater experience. So great munchies are important!
We love Mike and Ike’s candy and have since forever. We like to pull out the red and green ones and eat them and give the leftover ones to the kids. Well I spied with my little eye some new Mike and I keep candies called Zours on the candy aisle. After sampling them all, I liked the blue ones the best. So I ate those first. On the regular I won’t buy sour candy. It just does something to your face before you can enjoy the candy. See! Check out my #ZoursFace #CollectiveBias! They were perfect though, because when you are buying candy for date night you need candy that makes your lips pucker. So you can smooch! It’s a date right? I decided to put a little spin on our date night dessert and make a layered dessert bowl. These Zours added the perfect sour touch! Lemon Berry Bowls with Zours
